The annual meeting for Wexford GAA Health & Wellbeing Club Officers will take place on Thursday, 23rd May at 7.30pm in Clonard Community Centre.
As a result of queries from clubs we have booked two speakers for the night.
Edward Murphy, Project Manager with HSE Tobacco Free Ireland Programme will make a presentation on vaping among young people which is a rising problem among our young GAA players.
Niall O 'Muiri, Education Officer with Wexford Mental Health Association will speak on mental health awareness with particular reference to how clubs can best respond to critical incidents in their club/parish.
If your Health & Wellbeing Officer is unable to attend on the night, please ensure your club is represented. If any coach/club member is interested in these topics, they are very welcome to attend.
